The Hardison-Hill & Swartz-Weaver Family Foundation has the mission to facilitate genealogical research for the descendants of Odis Paul Hardison, Doris Jean Hill, Gaylord William Swartz and Edith Mary Weaver families to include those families whose bond joins them to these same family lines through sibling relationships, adoption and marriage; providing consolidate records archives, document restoration, reproduction and distribution of genealogical data, original documents, journals, family histories, public records, private collections, art work, property, real estate, etc. Efforts will be made to salvage what otherwise might be lost through neglect, ignorance, malice, etc. Where ownership of material items deemed significant to the families stories, the foundation will take stewardship for recovering said items and property with the understanding that peace, unity, understanding truth, ethics, integrity and morality are greater treasures than those things that decay, spoil, disease and fail.

The Hardison-Hill & Swartz-Weaver Family foundation will work to consolidate and index all genealogical records and documents and make the same available using the most efficient means available to the current day, updating data and routinely publishing the same using various designs and communication formats to facilitate the widest distribution in formats which meet their useful needs. Priority for privacy and avoiding abuse by those with bad intentions supersedes curiosity. Genealogy research will be used to validate any claims for foundation benefits exclusive to family members. A secure vaulted storage will be used to provide document, precious and one-of-a-king items protection from fire, water and other destructive elements thereby assuring future generations continued use of their ancestor’s origins, traditions and customs.

The foundation is tasked to recover, purchase or redeem real estate relevant to the telling of the families stories, the function of which is for the sustainment and betterment of the foundation, the families and communities and are to be managed with in good conscience,  prudence and economically in harmony with the environment and the local communities. Properties will used to support, promote and further the three missions of the Hardison-Hill & Swartz-Weaver Foundation, sustain charitable support for the disadvantaged and sustain the foundation. Use for the enjoyment of family descendants and community betterment is strongly encouraged as it may be so done in accomplishment in the telling of the families histories and stories and promote support and furtherance of the foundations missions.

Properties and businesses required for the storage, restoration, maintenance, publication, etc. which would as a matter of business (Volume, efficiency, cost or security concerns) be better managed by the foundation, such businesses and properties will be acquired as required and financially responsible. These foundation serving properties and businesses will be governed and report to the foundation but managed privately, and required to be fiscally viable, although priority to the promotion of the family foundations missions is of higher priority than profits. A business covering costs and meeting future investment needs will be considered viable.

The Hardison-Hill and Swartz-Weaver Family Foundation will not risk failure in it’s efforts to preserve the family heritage, but will encourage family service in the preservation efforts beyond its current resources.

It is the  mission of the Hardison-Hill & Swartz-Weaver Family Foundation to restore, maintain or establish any virtuous, ethical or means of good report which aids in the genealogical research of the Odis Paul Hardison, Doris Jean Hill, Gaylord William Swartz and Edith Mary Weaver family lines to include those families whose bond joins them to these same family lines through adoption and marriage. Additionally, any whose involvement in these families represent a profound association, family survival or otherwise unattainable worldly success will be include as such in respect for the brotherhood and in encouragement of the unity of mankind as a greater brotherhood.
